I Got Henry Waxman A Book Deal!

You’d think they would be returning my calls a little faster up there at the Energy and Commerce Committee. I discovered this reading Ezra Klein’s interview with the Chairman:

Let’s start with the book. I’ve always wondered why legislators write these books. You win reelection with large numbers. You’re busy. You don’t seem interested in running for president in 2012. You chair an important committee. So why spend your time on this?

I was contacted by Jonathan Carp, the publisher of Twelve Company. He had seen an article in Time that called me the scariest guy in Washington and he was curious about that. So he called me about doing a book. And I liked the idea of doing a book.

And here’s the story that launched a book. Mr. Chairman, I’ll be looking for my autographed copy any day now…

    Royalties! Can you get some? If this was a film or song you could sue for stealing an idea (“sue thy neightbor” is new golden rule). Plus, if this was a film AND you were a writer’s guild member you’d get screen credit “based on a story by KT”, etc. and a small check in the mail.

    Did loyal readers ask last fall / post-election if you’d write a pres. campaign book, perhaps such as what really happened on Obama campaign flights besides the food? I was reading but not posting back then. I’d bet the unhealth care / medical-industrial complex story could be where you’d catch your big book deal break, yes?

    Why should the ability of these FELONS to access hundreds of legitimate websites and alter information enable them stay free. They continue to elude law enforcement and commit felony after felony.

    This woman is a VILE PREDATOR who in all probability molests and abuses her own children. Why can this matter not be persistently and continuously investigated by an elite journalist and the truth found out???

    Screaming BLACK POWER and running many various black power blogs should not be cover for this vile REPROBATE.

NO, she has to appear ordinary to lure and assault unassuming people online and elsewhere!

    WHY SHOULD THIS WOMAN who runs hundreds of websites under numerous aliases, a fiend who listens to and records my calls even activating my microphones to follow my life and uses Trojans/spyware for my computers BE FREE?????

    Must a crime INVOLVE A CELEBRITY FOR IT TO BE RIGOROUSLY AND CONTINUOUSLY INVESTIGATED???? WHat happened to truth in journalism. Can these CYBER Bots Shay Riley, her husband Akbar SHabazz and their accomplices be capable of deceiving the slew of so called ELITE TECHNOLOGY AND CRIME INVESTIGATORS???

    The Borgen Project posts had the advantage of being shorter. OTOH they were always under different commenter names, so it was harder to skip by them.

    If she gets a good enough agent (hint hint KT!) she can pull off getting both. Also in keeping with your love of the Internet and blogging roots, make sure you include a Kindle edition if you do get around to writing about us.

    Quite obviously, Henry Waxman should ask the ghost Vincent Price to endorse and/or write the introduction for his book. Who could resist not reading Vincent Price’s “House of Wax”!
