Senate Lunchbox: Tuesday with Harry

So, we’re trying something new. As most of our readers will know, the Senate Democratic caucus and Republican conference meet most Tuesdays for lunches just down the hall from one another on the second floor of the Capitol. During these lunches the plan for the week is often laid out and talking points on major issues handed out. Often times there are important guests — Dick Cheney attended most of the GOP lunches the last eight years, though Joe Biden will not be a fixture — such as Barack Obama yesterday. Below is a podcast narrated by me but with House and Senate members reacting to Obama’s meetings with them (obviously, yesterday was exceptional, congressman rarely attend the lunches). We hope to get this up to speed so that you may eventually listen to this the day of. And I welcome any thoughts and suggestions you may have on this maiden podcast. So, listen away!
