Why Palin Got Bad Press

Are conservatives really so blind to Gov. Sarah Palin’s true liabilities that they believe this is the reason she was mauled in the press? How appalling. Could it be, instead, that in her first interviews as the GOP’s vice presidential nominee, Palin revealed herself to be less knowledgeable about national and international affairs than your average congressional intern? And that by picking her, McCain essentially gave away the experience card in his contest with Obama? It may somehow be comforting to believe that Palin was victimized by the pro-abortion biases of the liberal media, but doing so only postpones the honest reckoning that Republicans need to have over what went wrong in 2008.

The Phony War: Obama and Romney Are Debating Character, Not Policy

More than five months from Election Day, the back-and-forth about Mitt Romney’s record at Bain already feels played out. Unfortunately, there’s good reason to expect the campaign continues in this vein indefinitely. Neither Barack Obama nor Mitt Romney are terribly interested in dwelling on policy platforms. Romney’s plan to slash spending and keep taxes low on the wealthy isn’t especially popular, at least not at any level of detail beyond a blithe promise to shrink the deficit. Meanwhile, Obama’s signature first-term achievements, like health care, the stimulus and Wall Street reform, are all unpopular or tricky to sell. (The Dodd-Frank bill is the most popular of these, but hyping it means offending wealthy donors.) So what we’re getting instead is a superficial duel about character–and, worse, one that’s based on the largely false premise that the better man can better “manage” the economy back to health.

Assuming that Palin could have been a plausible national candidate some time in the future, Republicans should be a bit peeved with McCain for bringing her onto the national stage too early, and weighing her down with all this baggage (not the RNC luggage)

For them to admit that Sarah Palin wasn’t reaady would be for them to admit that they fell in love with an ignoramus because she was just like them. Remember that the biggest selling point for Palin was supposedly she was a “Jane six pack”. Barone isn’t the only one making that “argument.”
    -
sgwhiteinfla is quite right. The right simply lacks the analytical tools to comprehend what has happened to them. All they have is their version of political correctness, and Palin embodied it. She was their dream candidate– she taunted Democrats, she’s white, she disdained expertise, she claimed to love America more than her opponents… and despite all that, she was rejected by the country.
    -
As Greenwald pointed out, the modern conservative movement “long ago ceased being a movement of political ideas and is driven by two, and only two, extreme emotions: (1) intense, aggressive rage towards their revolving door of enemies, and (2) bottomless self-pity over how unfairly they’re being treated.”

The funny thing is these crazy conservatives keep pointing back at Reagan as their standard bearer without realizing how different the world is now than it was back then. He railed against taxes and talked about cutting taxes at a time when the top tax rate was in the 70s. It was EASY to sell regular people on the meme that Carter was a socialist when the tax rate was THAT high. Now that its less than 40 percent nobody is buying it anymore. Same way with goverment being bad. Reagan thought and said that Medicare would be the advent of socialism and signal the end of the world as we know it. But all these years later Medicare is a lifeline to regular people and hasnt damaged America much if at all. Until they actually find some new ideas and I mean truly new and not just something thats recycled with a new spin, they are going to keep falling deeper into irrelevance. Personally I will egg them on to keep on the same path but its almost too easy at this point.

Why does Palin need to be knowledgeable about national and international affairs anyway? God will guide her. She’s just along for the ride.
    .
I’m still trying to figure out why she generates so much enthusiasm in the far right. I can see their approval for her religious beliefs and her attitude about hot-button domestic issues (guns, god, gays, etc). But can anyone explain what her foreign policy positions are? Does she have any (other than the vacuous goal of ‘winning’ in Iraq)?
    .
And what would Palin-nomics be? Her distribution of oil company revenues to Alaskan residents is certainly not traditional republican. If anything, it’s socialistic.
    .
During the campaign all we heard from her were attacks. I still don’t know what her core beliefs are (other than personal ambition).

  • ivb3016

They listen to all the people interviewed who say that they voted Repub because of Sarah “Because she’s just like me; she would understand me.” I can’t tell you how many people I heard interviewed on NPR who said just that. Therefore, the people who feel Sarah is incompetent must simply have been brainwashed by the evil media.
    .
So much discussion about the Governor’s conference and who will be a candidate in 2012. Yikes.
    .
The problem is that Sarah energizes the base who care only about “moral values” and they think that she would really push that message if she were elected. For one thing, she couldn’t and for another the more they push this, the more they will lose any but the hard core 25% and you can’t win elections with only them.

Howard Kurtz that the press was much more interested in tracking down negative information on Palin than Obama.

Speaking of denying the obvious, doesn’t anybody remember that when she was selected, the immediate response was ‘Sarah who?’ The press didn’t all traipse to Alaska looking for negative information, they traipsed to Alaska looking for ANY information. It’s not their fault that they were immediately greeted with evidence of the jaw-dropping inadequacy of McCains vetting process.

By the way Jay, isn’t it fun to be able to state the obvious loudly and clearly without having to look over your shoulder in case a particular candidate disapproves?

As a Christian Liberal, I note that Palin “knows” that God is on her side. She asks God not to let her miss the door of political opportunity. Palin does not ask for guidance in which path to take whether it be in political office or as a private citizen. Palin has chosen the path and wants to pull God along with her.

Is it possible that Palin missed God’s message that national politics was not her role in life? The tricky thing about religion is to make certain that you are on the Creator’s side, not to assume that God is by default on your side.

Fundamentalists of all stripes, be they Christian Evangelicals, Islamists, or Atheist are to be equally feared. Each is certain that their ideology is the correct one. People who disagree are flawed.

Christian Fundamentalists, Islamists, and what I will call Ateistic Fundamentalists would have no problem killing masses of Muslims. The Christian Fundamentalist would do it to prevent the spread of a heathen religion and prevent a possible attack on the US. Israel would be supported to provide the fodder for the Rapture.

The Islamist would kill because the fellow Muslim did not follow the strict guidelines of the shared religion. If a mistaken Muslim death occurred, Allah would sort it out.

The Atheistic Fundamentalist would do it because of fear of a perceived danger from a group considered to represent a future threat and were delusional (believed in a higher being).

Palin represents one leg of a three-legged stool. The instability of the other legs also has to be remembered. (I realize I could add in Zionists and convert the stool to a table).

    .
Greenwald is close, but not quite there. Who are the enemies? Anyone who isn’t white, Protestant(for the most part) and ostensibly heterosexual. The self pity and rage come as a result of living in a country in which every position of power isn’t held by someone who conforms to the aforementioned description. The single idea on which modern conservativism rests is: maintenance of WASP hegemony in the United States. The emotions Greenwald describes are a result of perceived setbacks to WASP hegemony. I know people are probably tired of me hammering this theme, but watching the Atwater doc last night really crystallized it for me.

There is no “pro-Abortion” group in America. This play on words is great marketing by the “pro-life” segment. If you are not “pro-life” the connotation is that you must therefore be “pro-death” or “anti-life”.
    .
The legal issue is a matter of choice, as difficult a choice or medically necessary a decision that may be, it has never been about anyone “championing abortion”. It has always been about championing “rights”.
    .
Now, back on subject. No reasonably rational person thinks Palin was somehow blacklisted for her “pro-life” stance. The glory of the recorded interview is that people get to make their own assessment of a candidate. While people can allow themselves to be more or less persuaded by the spin that comes after, the core of that opinion starts with the candidate’s own performance. Palin failed to perform in a small window of opportunity to do so. Period.

    @cincinnatus,

You’re overgeneralizing almost to an almost fatal degree. Yesterday I cited a Gallup poll that showed Obama with a 70% favorability rating and a 25% unfavorability. While your comments about WASP hegemony might refer to 3/4 of that 25%, there are quite a few Republicans who find themselves holding their nose as they fish for votes among those types. John McCain was among those we are assured (right Jay?) was holding his nose. Sarah Palin on the other hand was holding the pitcher and passing out the Kool-aid and cookies.

The more, she’s held up as a ‘typical Republican’ the bigger tent the Democrats are going to need to handle all the new arrivals.

Very true sgwhiteinfla– and what’s more, Reagan himself wouldn’t have passed the purity tests that the modern GOP inflicts on its politicians. When, after the tax cuts of 1981, the deficit shot up, Reagan signed tax hikes into law! Ronald Reagan is a model of sobriety compared to today’s GOP.
    -
And as to the changed world, after he was president, Reagan called for the UN to develop a standing army, to prevent humanitarian disasters. The modern GOP has caricatured the most extreme elements of Reagan’s anti-government and anti-internationalist rhetoric, and turned it into dogma. Dogma that has zero to do with the world as it actually exists.

    they read Deborah Howell
    -
That’s a very important point. Part of the reason that conservatives have been trained to believe that bias is the root of all their problems is that the media shares their delusion. Howell is emblematic of the view that “journalism” means being exactly between the two parties, and never, ever evaluating their positions on the merits honestly.
    -
On the merits, of course, this is like the GM of the Royals complaining that the Phillies got better news coverage because of East Coast bias. But it’s worked, among the true believers and the reporters, for over than a generation now. Gonna take quite some time for reality to penetrate their worldview.

The Atheistic Fundamentalist would do it because of fear of a perceived danger from a group considered to represent a future threat and were delusional (believed in a higher being).
    .
Do not do this. The hallmark of atheism is rationalism and materialism. There is no way an atheist would ever advocate killing anybody over a belief in the supernatural. We’ve noticed that this belief is widespread, and often the result of youthful indoctrination, and sometimes the use of force. We would never advocate killing people because of their ignorance or poor upbringing.
    .
It’s true that it is hard to have a fruitful conversation with someone who does believe in the supernatural, because, inevitably, the atheist will point to some other widely held supernatural belief that his fellow conversationalist considers absurd. The believer feels insulted, and the quality of conversation diminishes rapidly therefrom.
    .
But, no, there are no bloodthirsty atheists out to impose rejection of the supernatural by force. (Although it’s impossible not to observe that this would be martyrdom for many believers, and a guarantee of eternal pleasure, and by a lemma derived from Descartes’ wager, should be welcomed.)

I’m torn between wanting the Disasta from Alaska to be the GOP leader, since it will be incredibly easy to crush her down the road, and being scared as h-e-l-l (I hope this isn’t on the list) since that would mean there are still people out there who think like that twit and want her to lead the free world.

  • Dee in Columbia MD

See the genius of Atwater and the reason that his acolytes haven’t come up with anything new since he passed is that he really liked people, all kinds of people. This is how he got to know how people think and act he was the consummate observer. The reason he could used race as a wedge is because he knew what certain kinds of white folks felt about blacks. and yes he was one of the few Republicans who understood the potential of socially conservative issues to move black voters. Of course he understood that race could keep them out of the party but he knew how issues could be used to convince them to stay at home.
    .
Funny, Obama benefited from some of Lee’s early work, his race speech was so effective because he could articulate that he understood the race issue from the perspective of white voters — of course the difference is he used his knowledge for good rather than evil.

“See the genius of Atwater and the reason that his acolytes haven’t come up with anything new since he passed is that he really liked people, all kinds of people. This is how he got to know how people think and act he was the consummate observer. The reason he could used race as a wedge is because he knew what certain kinds of white folks felt about blacks. and yes he was one of the few Republicans who understood the potential of socially conservative issues to move black voters. Of course he understood that race could keep them out of the party but he knew how issues could be used to convince them to stay at home.”

That’s right, I think. Atwater was a scummy political operator, but he wasn’t a hater. He could play a hater, to be sure, but that’s not the same thing. The Steve Schmidts and Mark Salters of the world let their hate get the better of them all the time.

And Atwater never wandered around a bar screaming “game on” because his VP candidate supposedly gave a good speech.

In grad school we used to talk about circular discourses–for example, we radicalized lefties contemplated literature through the prism of our neo-Marxism. Other interpretations simply weren’t relevant. Furthermore, any discussion outside of our ivory tower within an ivory tower, was like a different language and view of reality altogether.

This is a fine analogy of the GOP bubble–they have their own language, their own blindered view of reality and any view from without their bubble is so foreign and unrecognizable to them that they simply can’t process it. As with academia that’s closed to alternative discourses, the conformist self-reinforcing narratives from within the GOP assure their continued marginalization and, FWIW, the benefit of the nation.

  • Dee in Columbia MD

Yeah exile that’s the main difference. He pretended hate and today’s GOP really do hate and its the hate that’s going to continue to marginalize them. sgwhiteinfla,
I did watch the whole Atwater special. Heard the Black guy who claimed Atwater as a friend and indeed, as an African American cringed when the Atwater friend claimed he was a “Black guy in a White body.”
Funny thing, good ol’ boys like Atwater are not that unusual. Elvis Presley is a perfect example. Clearly, whatever his political leanings, Atwater loved Blues and apparently was not a bad guitar player. Whatever his feelings about race, he did not seem uncomfortable around African Americans. Don’t forget he accepted a board position at Howard.
As far as dancing ability, I can speak from personal experience, it is something learned. From what I hear, President-elect Obama can not dance a lick, but what I saw of Gov. Palin on Saturday Night Live, it seems she can “bust a move”. I don’t know where she learned that. I am not aware of any juke joints in Wasilla.

The thing is that Little Debbie and her ilk internalized the conservative demand for balance, irrespective of truth or accuracy. It’s not that they get it from her. She got it from them.
    .
In a very interesting debate about the media between Eric Alterman and Tucker Carlson, I found out that the roots of this lies in, naturally enough, abortion. Pew or somebody like that did a study sometime in the eighties and found that, indeed, the language used by the media in news stories was biased against people opposed to choice. The newspeople freaked out about this, and implemented policies to enforce greater balance. Rightly so, IMO, when I looked at the stuff they were referring to. The anti-choice people WERE being portrayed as ignorant yahoos. Moreover, this reinforced the point the media critics were making–that reporters personal background (from the coasts, college educated, professional) was consistent with personally liberal views.
    .
But that has turned into not pressure to be more accurate, but pressure to be more “balanced” at the expense of accuracy. We want accuracy. They want lies to be printed to balance truth. This is a problem for Little Debbie. When the truth has a liberal bias, how can she enforce balance?

Another interesting thing about the Atwater era is that not that much of his awful political tactics seeped into the actual governing of the country. Bush I (wisely) raised taxes, had a multilateral foreign policy, etc. The big difference between Atwater and Rove is that Atwater ran campaigns and didn’t try to run the country.

As toxic as Atwater-style politics was, the fact that it was quarantined to political campaigns made it infinitely less damaging than Rove politics.

Barone (aka Palin Moron # 9) is one of the prime antagonists of the GOP culture war.

We Didn’t Just Lose a Race. We Lost Our Bearings.

    By Dov S. Zakheim
    Sunday, November 9, 2008; B04

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/11/06/AR2008110603000.html

It is not exactly a blinding insight to note that the Republican Party has lost its way. The election of Barack Obama was simply the result of an intellectual decline that began with the start of President Bush’s reelection campaign in the summer of 2003 and continued unabated, culminating in Gov. Sarah Palin’s unabashed appeals this year to resentful, blue-collar Republican culture warriors.

Palin’s error, John McCain’s error and the GOP’s error was to assume that a shrinking slice of the U.S. population could constitute an increasingly large and influential faction of the party. There are simply too few culturally conservative whites to sustain a national political party. At most, that community can contribute to a larger coalition; it cannot constitute that coalition on its own.

How did we lose our bearings so badly? In late 1998, when I joined then-Texas Gov. George W. Bush’s foreign policy team (famously dubbed the “Vulcans”), I was going to work for a man who stood for five key principles that many of us thought would underpin a national Republican majority for decades to come. Last week’s failure stemmed from my party’s failure to hew to these values.

The first and best-known of these was “compassionate conservatism,” exemplified by the insistence that no child be left behind in poverty and despair — a reflection of President Bush’s determination to improve the lot of underprivileged Americans, especially minorities.

The second was modesty in international relations; we would no longer preen as the world’s “indispensable nation,” as the Clinton administration had boastfully put it.

The third was small government, meaning both lower taxes and less bureaucracy.

The fourth was a thorough transformation of our national defense structure, which entailed eliminating waste, cutting red tape and improving our acquisition system to produce a 21st-century military and intelligence community.

Finally, we wanted a new spirit of comity in Washington, reflecting the bipartisanship that had been the hallmark of Bush’s governorship of Texas.

President Bush is a man who stubbornly adheres to the values that he believes in, but the administration and the party that he led — my party — abandoned every one of the five principles that catapulted him to the White House.

We did pass a No Child Left Behind education law, but many argued, especially after the disastrous response to Hurricane Katrina, that the Bush administration’s conservatism was anything but compassionate.

We forgot about humility in international affairs, succumbing to the pipe dreams of neoconservatives who pinned our global reputation and power on remaking a Middle Eastern society about whose values and priorities they knew next to nothing.

We took a budget surplus and squandered it, remaining in Iraq for far too long, ignoring the profligacy of Wall Street and wasting billions in the process, leaving the nation once again hamstrung by a massive deficit and a ballooning national debt.

We tried mightily to transform the Pentagon but did little to eliminate congressional pork, fix a broken weapons-acquisition system or energize an ossified bureaucracy that was unable to manage the massive budgets that Congress continued to hand it.

And we came to a bitterly divided Washington and poured salt on partisan wounds, culminating in an ugly divide-and-rule style of politics that made sense to certain small-minded groups in certain small-minded places but had little resonance for the overwhelming majority of Americans who live, and struggle, in cities and suburbs across the country.

The United States remains a center-right nation, but it is not a bigoted or small-minded one. Ours is an inclusive, generous society. It may not want too much government, but it seeks responsible and efficient government. It eschews isolationism and admires the promise of cooperation in foreign affairs. It looks to its leaders to keep their promises, but it also wants them to win over those whose votes they did not receive.

All Americans have reason to be proud of President-elect Obama’s victory. Tuesday’s voting demonstrated once again the special — indeed unique — nature of American society. Now is the time for his loyal opposition to regroup and once again behave with the stature worthy of his victory, and of the American people’s basic conservative instincts.

Dov S. Zakheim was a senior foreign policy adviser to George W. Bush during the 2000 presidential campaign. He served as undersecretary of defense and chief financial officer of the Pentagon from 2001-04.

Sarah Palin was criticized for some very simple reasons.
    .
She didn’t pass the smell test. She is a Republican (supposed conservative) that once looked into banning books, built a hockey arena leaving her town in debt, was for the bridge to nowhere before she was against it, and finally, she imposed a tax on oil companies to provide welfare to Alaskans. America is a centrist country based upon conservative principles. By this standard, she is radical…culturally, politically, and economically.
    .
She didn’t pass the intelligence test. On matters of world politics, domestic policies, and constitutional understanding, one must have actual knowledge (NOT TALKING POINTS) to have a reasonably intelligent and useful conversation. Because the office of the President, the role of CINC, and Chief Executor require both high-level writing and speaking roles to convey your decisions and vision, it is a requirement that a potential candidate be fluent in meeting these aims. Miscommunication, irrational thought and confused dogma are no place for a person seeking this office. Her communication, demonstrated thought process and reliance upon talking points unphased by changing reality are not indicative of her ability to handle the highest office in the world.
    .
Finally, she didn’t pass the authentication test. The test is not something you win or lose, but it is a constant struggle. It is the ability to convey the people that you are genuine, sincere and earnestly seeking to do things which are in their general well-being. Bush ultimately failed this test. McCain has done likewise. Palin appears to be on the way to joining their lack of success. Ultimately, the American people vote on this test almost alone. It is likely why Hillary was unable to beat Obama. The question is usually couched as one of likeability or who has the highest negatives.
    .
It is that simple. The Republican party can remain in their current state until the cows come home. But, by then, we will all know that DENIAL is not just a river in Egypt!

  • Cliff

You people are all brain dead.
    .
NO IT IS YOU WHO ARE BRAIN DEAD
    .
Palin and McCain could have saved ya but you have taken the road of hard knocks and believe me you are about to get them.

It now appears that Obama comes from the following history.
Obama is not a natural born U.S. citizen, he was born in Kenya. His mother was a naturalized U.S. citizen because she was to young to have met the residency requirements pursuant to U.S. law. His father was a citizen of Kenya. Obama could of become a “naturalized” citizen at that time while in Hawaii but it appears that he did not, but someone did acquired a fraudulent “Live Birth Certificate” for him at that time. He then went to Indonesia for 10 years with a new father and his mother and became a citizen of Indonesia. Obama was then sent back to Hawaii to live with his grand parents and to school where he could have again became a “naturalized” U.S. citizen but it is looking more and more like he did not. We believe Obama lost his Kenya citizenship because Kenya requires that you reaffirm it after 10 years
and we believe he allowed it to lapse. We believe Obama retains his Indonesia citizenship because Indonesia citizenship lasts for life unless you renounce and we do not believe he renounce it. The end results of these facts is that Mr. Obama is currently an illegal U.S. alien, all of which prevents him from serving as a United States President.

We were all ill-informed as to Obama’s citizen status…
It appears that he is not even a U.S. citizen… Hard to believe right? He is refusing to produce his birth certificate…
Since he is not a U.S. citizen he therefore cannot even take the oath of office.

Law suit filed to force him to produce his birth certificate.

Press Release 11-07-08: US Supreme Court awaits response to Berg Writ of Certiorari from Obama, DNC and co-defendants
    Saturday, 08 November 2008 04:23 administrator Main – News For Immediate Release: – 11/07/08

    U. S. SUPREME COURT AWAITS RESPONSE TO
    BERG’S WRIT OF CERTIORARI
    FROM OBAMA, DNC and Co-DEFENDANTS
(Contact information and PDF at end)

(Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania – 11/07/08) – Philip J. Berg, Esquire, the Attorney who filed suit against Barack H. Obama challenging Senator Obama’s lack of “qualifications” to serve as President of the United States filed a Writ of Certiorari in the United States Supreme Court on October 30, 2008, requesting review of the United States District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Judge Surrick’s Dismissal of Philip J. Berg’s lawsuit against Barack H. Obama, Jr., the DNC and the other co-Defendants. Accordingly, the U. S. Supreme Court has set dates in which Barack Obama, the DNC and all co-Defendants are to respond to the Writ, which is on or before December 1, 2008.

Mr. Berg remarked today, “I look forward to receiving Defendant Obama’s response to the Writ and am hopeful the U. S. Supreme Court will review Berg v. Obama. I believe Mr. Obama is not a constitutionally-qualified natural-born citizen and is ineligible to assume the office of President of the United States.”

Mr. Berg’s case, Berg vs. Obama was dismissed from the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Docket # 08-cv-4083 for lack of standing. Mr. Berg filed a Writ of Certiorari for review of the case and an injunction to stay the election pending review. Justice Souter denied the injunction. It is expected that the Court will decide whether or not to review Berg v. Obama after the Defendants file their response, and Mr. Berg has replied to the Defendant’s response.

The Defendants’ response is due by December 1st and Mr. Berg’s reply will be submitted thereafter.

“Mr. Obama we have the notorious terrorist Mr. Binloden on one of our telephone bank lines, he would like to speak with you, sirrrr,” Algore said.
“Put him on the speaker phone Algore, we have nothing to hide here from my Obama Zombie’s.” Mr. Obama said.
“Yes sirrrrrr Mr. Obama,” Algore said.
“Hellooooo this is Senator Obama can I help you?”
“Senator Obama, this is Mr. Binloden I was telling your associate there that I wish to make a substantial contribution to your cause but I have no real way to do this as I had to travel one full day just to get to a telephone and they are looking for me everywhere you know,” Binloden said.
“Well it is good to hear from you Mr. Binloden, we have been wondering what became of you. What kind of money are we talking about here?” Obama said.
“We would be willing to send you 37,493,894 Saudi Riyal or I believe that would be about 10,000,000 U.S. dollars, immediately Senator,” Mr. Binloden added.
” REALLY ! HEY EVERYONE WE HAVE A MR. BINLODEN ON THE PHONE AND HE WANTS TO DONATE 10,000,000 SOMETHING TO OUR CAUSE !” Obama shouted
as a low growling sound erupted from the zombie’s in the room.
“ALGORE TELL THOSE BRAIN DEAD OBAMA ZOMBIE’S TO HOLD IT DOWN A LITTLE,” the senator shouted.
“CRACK!!!!” Algore cracked a whip over the Zombie’s heads.
“SHUT UP YOU, YOU, STUPID BRAIN DEAD ZOMBIES!!!” Algore screamed.
“Now you were saying something about $10,000,000 Saudi Riyal, Mr. Binloden?” Obama asked.
“No that is 10,000,000 U.S. dollars Mr. Obama, We wanted to wire you the amount as soon as possible but I am afraid that I am being watched and it has made that kind of a transfer impossible,” Mr. Binloden said.
“Well we here at the Obama camp are 100% behind you and your people over there in Afghanistan,” Mr. Obama said.
“Good, Good, it is always good to hear from another Muslim brother Senator,” Mr. Binloden said.
” We here at Camp Obama believe in accepting donations from anyone at any time and we don’t care if you people did blow up our World Trade Center Buildings, or not. We really don’t concern ourselves with that little issue,” Senator Obama added.
“There is just one little issue Senator,” Binloden added.
    “What’s that?” Mr. Obama replied.
“Our check has already been written for $20,000,000 USD and I would not be unable to change it without great effort on my part.
Would it be to much to ask that you cash the check and send us back the extra $10,000,000?” Mr. Binloden asked.
“Oh that’s no trouble at all Mr. Binloden, we can handle that easy,” Obama said.

It seems that you lib dems really like Obama so here’s some actual Obama facts. I understand that you are only used to Obama lies and half truths but for now, try real hard to block the mother ships transmissions for just a moment.

It seems that Barack Obama is not qualified to be president after all for the following reason:

Barack Obama is not legally a U.S. natural-born citizen according to the law on the books at the time of his birth, which falls between “December 24, 1952 to November 13, 1986? Presidential office requires a natural-born citizen if the child was not born to two U.S. citizen parents, which of course is what exempts John McCain though he was born in the Panama Canal. US Law very clearly stipulates: “.If only one parent was a U.S. citizen at the time of your birth, that parent must have resided in the United States for at least ten years, at least five of which had to be after the age of 16.” Barack Obama’s father was not a U.S. citizen and Obama’s
mother was only 18 when Obama was born, which means though she had been a U.S. citizen for 10 years, (or citizen perhaps because of Hawai’i being a territory) the mother fails the test for being so for at least 5 years **prior to** Barack Obama’s birth, but *after* age 16. It doesn’t matter *after*. In essence, she was not old enough to qualify her son for automatic U.S. citizenship.
At most, there were only 2 years elapsed since his mother turned 16 at the time of Barack Obama’s birth when she was 18 in Hawai’i. His mother would have needed to have been 16+5= 21 years old, at the time of Barack Obama’s birth for him to have been a natural-born citizen. As aformentioned, she was a young college student at the time and was not. Barack Obama was already 3 years old at that time his mother would have needed to have waited to have him as the only U.S. Citzen parent. Obama instead should have been naturalized, but even then, that would still disqualify him from holding the office.
*** Naturalized citizens are ineligible to hold the office of President. *** Though Barack Obama was sent back to Hawaii at age 10, all the other info does not matter because his mother is the one who needed to have been a U.S. citzen for 10 years prior to his birth on August 4, 1961, with 5 of those years being after age 16. Further, Obama may have had to have remained in the country
for some time to protect any citizenship he would have had, rather than living in Indonesia. This is very clear cut and a blaring violation of U.S. election law. I think the Gov. of California would be very insterested in knowing this if Obama were elected President without being a natural-born U.S. citizen, and it would set precedence. Stay tuned to your TV sets because I suspect some of this information will be leaking through over the next several days.
    —————————————
“When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Kenya, it was still a British colony and still part of the United Kingdom’s dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr.
was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children. Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4,1982.”
Mr. Obama was probably born with Dual Citizenship under the 1948 Act at the outset. Even if Obama was born in Hawaii and that it doesn’t affect the final Eligibility for the Office of POTUS at all. Article II Requires that one be a “Natural Born Citizen”, and in terms of the Law as understood by the Framers, anyone with Dual Citizenship could not be “Natural Born”. It does not matter that they no longer hold that Citizenship, they fall into the same bracket as a “Naturalized Citizen” because they have/had Divided Allegiance.

Dunham was from Wichita, Kansas, but her parents moved to Hawaii in search of a better life. According to Obama, a distant ancestor was a “full-blooded Cherokee.” Dunham’s first marriage was to a Kenyan student, also called Barack Obama, but he left the family to study at Harvard and returned to Africa. She went on to marry Lolo Soetoro, another foreign student, and moved to his native Indonesia with six-year-old Barack in 1967, after the new dictator Suharto summoned the country’s citizens home.

WAS OR IS OBAMA AN INDONESIAN CITIZEN? The Senator isn’t saying, isn’t mentioning it, is trying to avoid producing any Paperwork at all. Why? If he is/was an Indonesian Citizen, too, the Senator’s entire narrative is a fiction and he should be ashamed of himself.
It appear fairly clear that he’s lied about Kenya, at least by omission, for months/years, so why should I assume he isn’t lying about Indonesia? Note Kenyan Citizenship automatically lapses if it isn’t renewed at age 21, Indonesian Citizenship doesn’t. If he was an Indonesian Citizen he would have to actively repudiate that Citizenship at age 21 or retained it FOR LIFE. Did he? Has he?
Because if he hasn’t, Senator Obama is Dual National Indonesian at this moment, subject to the Laws of BOTH Countries, equally.
That is true under US Law, Indonesian Law and International Law and until LAST YEAR Indonesia DID NOT Recognize Dual Citizenship and the USA did not Recognize that one could be a Dual US/Indonesian Citizen. It does not matter that the Senator was not Responsible for the change of Citizenship because he was a child when it happened. Governor Schwarzenegger was not Responsible for the fact that he was born in Austria, or that under Austrian Law he is not a
US Citizen, or under the US Law and Rules he is not a Citizen of Austria. Senator Obama needs to produce his ORIGINAL PAPERWORK, all of it, not just a Certification of Live Birth
from the State of Hawaii, but all his other Paperwork too.
So, the Senator WAS a Dual National. That is now an admitted fact, admitted by his own Campaign and by Annenberg. The Senator is a Constitutional Lawyer which means that he knows, and has always known, that he is probably Ineligible to Hold the Office of POTUS, or that, at the very least, there is a strong Legal Argument that that is the case. In turn, that means that as he lied about his Kenyan and British Citizenships he is probably lying about his
Indonesian Citizenship. I do not suppose that it was ever his intention to give up his US Citizenship and it does not
matter to me one bit. It doesn’t matter to Indonesia either. If Lolo Soetoro adopted him he ceased to be a US Citizen in the mid 1960s, BY INDONESIAN LAW. He also ceased to be a Kenyan Citizen, BY INDONESIAN LAW. By Kenyan and US Law he retained his Original Citizenships, until his 21st Birthday. By Indonesian Law he could have given up Indonesian Citizenship at age 18, but did he? If he didn’t he was, albeit accidentally, displaying a Legal Intention to void his US Citizenship, since he knew he could not Legally hold both Citizenships. Please don’t tell me that the US doesn’t have to concern itself with the Laws of Indonesia because, in this case, the US does have to do so. By the way, under US Law of another time
the Senator would not have been a US Citizen of any kind, and he knows that. If a Naturalized Citizen cannot hold the Office of POTUS because they previously held another Citizenship it is egregious, so far as I am concerned, that a Dual Citizen/Former Dual Citizen
should claim to have a Legal Right to do so. I refer the reader to Blackstone. This new material at “Fight the Smears” displays arrogance, hubris and bad faith, in my opinion.
It is the Senator’s reaction to Phillip Berg’s Law Suit, and, basically, it amounts to an open bad faith admission. He is flaunting his bad faith and in so doing destroys his own case.

So, when does our Committee for Political Purity and Political Correctness meet? Hopefully the ccpwow issue will be up first on the agenda, I know many of you will vote for execution, but I say he/she doesn’t have any problems that can’t be fixed w/ a 2 year stay in one of our Venezuelan re-education camps. I know Uncle Hugo can straighten this poor person out. Also, go easy on the guy when you pick him up, and no forced Islamic conversions until he gets to Venezuela please.

On subject, Palin did a double down on dumb today on CNN. I like Begala’s estimation that essentially, if the Republican party wants to continue to prop up people like Ccpwow(Palin alter ego?) as what they stand for, sounds like a great time to be a Democrat if you want to be elected. However, that means it is a sad time to be an American in that we truly do benefit from, and need two opposing philosophies that fight over middle ground in order to get the best solutions for our country. If Republicans continue to be defined by a shrinking minority, they will find that directly proportional to the amount of elected offices they hold.

Cliff, you did get the verse was Palin, and the link was the comm dir? I neglected to put a period between a couple of paragraphs. Messed up, you betcha.
    .
I rather like what Kevin Drum said about Palin today:
    .
“WHAT JUST HAPPENED….Despite all the grief she’s gotten, I continue to think that the selection of Sarah Palin as John McCain’s running mate represents the breaking of a consensual cultural barrier far more fundamental than most people realize. It’s not just that she was inexperienced (Spiro Agnew and John Edwards weren’t much more experienced than Palin when they ran for VP) but that she was — obviously, transparently, completely — uninterested in and uninformed about national policy at nearly every level. We’ve simply never seen someone so completely unmoored from the normal requirements of national office before. She was chosen purely at the level of celebrity, and an awful lot of people seemed to be just fine with that. Unfortunately, I’ve never really been able to find the words to describe just how corrosive I think her choice was. The whole affair just left me gobsmacked.”
    http://www.motherjones.com/kevin-drum/2008/11/what_just_happened.html
    .
But even Drum deferred to Sully:
    .
” Let’s be real in a way the national media seems incapable of: this person should never have been placed on a national ticket in a mature democracy….The impulsive, unvetted selection of a total unknown, with no knowledge of or interest in the wider world, as a replacement president remains one of the most disturbing events in modern American history. That the press felt required to maintain a facade of normalcy for two months — and not to declare the whole thing a farce from start to finish — is a sign of their total loss of nerve.
    .
….This deluded and delusional woman still doesn’t understand what happened to her; still has no self-awareness; and has never been forced to accept her obvious limitations. She cannot keep even the most trivial story straight; she repeats untruths with a ferocity and calm that is reserved only to the clinically unhinged; she has the educational level of a high school drop-out; and regards ignorance as some kind of achievement. It is excruciating to watch her — but more excruciating to watch those who feel obliged to defend her.”
    http://andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com/the_daily_dish/2008/11/why-palin-still.html
    .
The fact that the media continues to follow Palin like a pack of puppies should be seen as precisely what it is – pretty woman in a train wreck, film at 11.

  • hickoryduck

Sorry about the late response. I respect your point of view, however I saw an atheist, Bill Mahrer, tell his audience how one could avoid SARS by eating the correct foods. My interpretation of the SARS data suggests to me that irrespective of health, your risk is increased if you sit three rows in front or behind a SARS-infected person on an airline.

Christopher Hitchens rationalized his support for the Iraq War. My position has nothing to do with morality. Atheists are no less moral than Christians. A personal belief system in and of itself does not impart morality. I would fear Hitchens as much as I would fear Palin in charge of government. Each is absolutely certain that their point of view is correct.

To me, Palin and Hitchens are dismissive of people with opposing views.

    .
I teach English (hence the not-so-original Swampland moniker) and so I really just want to teach Sarah Palin how to write, with the possibly misguided hope that this would teach her how to think about the words she uses and how to use them. You know, because that’s, like, important.

I never said atheists don’t get stuff wrong. I said they don’t, as a matter of dogma, believe in killing people. They mostly think that one reason false dogma is bad is that it is used to justify killing people in large numbers for no good reason. (They, or I at least, are extremely dubious about any program for killing people in large numbers.)
    .
And they don’t have much in the way of dogma. Doesn’t mean that individuals who profess atheism don’t get stuff wrong. They do get less stuff wrong, though, by rejecting the supernatural.
    .
And yeah, I am absolutely certain in my belief system that stuff that does not exist, does not exist. As I said, this gets awkward. People are okay about the no tooth fairy thing, but not so good about the no eternal life thing. The tooth fairy is actually more plausible. Eternal is a long time.

Once Hitler had gained power, he began to see Christianity as a threat to the National Socialists’ domination of Germany. After 1935 his speeches and writings became more and more virulently anti-Christian; he argued that Christian worship was a sign of weakness, and that it should be replaced by reverence for the nation and the state, and of course for the National Socialist Party.

The heaviest blow that ever struck humanity was the coming of Christianity … The deliberate lie in the matter of religion was introduced into the world by Christianity.

I’ll make these persons feel the power of the state in a way they would have never believed possible. For the moment, I am just keeping my eye upon them: if I ever have the slightest suspicion that they are getting dangerous, I will shoot the lot of them. This filthy reptile raises its head whenever there is a sign of weakness in the State, and therefore it must be stamped on. We have no sort of use for a fairy story invented by the Jews.
[Quoted from Hitler's "Table Talks" with Bormann,
in Hitler: A Study in Tyranny by Allan Bullock.]
    ———————
Please understand, I am not calling atheists Nazis. I am just pointing out that just as Christians can use their religion to justify harming Muslims, Jews, Catholics, or other Christians, Atheists can justify harming religious people.

Most Muslims, Jews, Christians, Atheists etc. want peace.

Really very interesting. Once again, he shows a mature understanding that actions consistent with religious teachings are more important than mouthing religious platitudes. I am, like you, not a religious person (but raised one), but also believe that the basic teachings assigned to Jesus are a good way to live – and that far too many so-called Christians ignore them.

Hi Shakespeare in GA. I think Ms. Sarah is a useful symptom of much larger problems in our society. Too many people are utterly incapable of critical thinking. I work as an informal educator with k-12 kids, and see that many high school kids lack the ability to connect more than two dots. They can’t do “if . . then . . . else” logic. Many are also functionally illiterate, in the sense that they can read words but not effectively process written information. Big problem. And, of course, many could care less.

  • http://elvisberg.wordpress.com Elvis Elvisberg

Jay– I agree, it was definitely a conservative thing to accuse the media of bias whenever it reported facts that made them upset. With the media internalizing that over the past 15 or so years, conservatives have taken it for granted that it was an accurate critique.
    -
Interesting point about the 1980s study. I’ve always claimed that people like David Broder and Joe Klein formed their opinions around 1975, and failed to adjust to the times (obviously, Joe has been very good of late). I’d wondered if there had ever been anything to the “liberal media” charge.

    1. She invokes God in one out of every 3 sentences.

    2. She likes to kill defenseless animals with assault rifles.

They hypocritically pay others to bash birds & animals brains out so they can sit down to a fine dinner

    3. She doesn’t believe humans contribute to global warming.
The only people who would claim this are people who have more time on there hands than brains in there heads.
They attempt to make us believe that they have some kind of million year data base to gage the planets “correct” temp. forever more.

up the planet will help return it to its normal state. WOW, where did he get that? We drill down all the time to 5 – 8,000 feet for OIL
up here and guess what we pull up? PALM TREES!!! This is the truth. It’s not political correct so you will never see that on FOX or
show up as a question from Kate Know-nothing. You are all brain washed daily by FOX and other lib. media sources and have no clue.

    4. She will say ANYTHING to get elected.
The only people who would claim this are people who know to well that is precisely what Obama has done. It’s all over the media.
Most politicians do this but dems do it a LOT more than reps.

    5. She is holier than thou.
The only people who would claim this are people who are evil and don’t know it. So you know who you are now cause someone told you.

    6. She gets all her foreign policy information from FOXNEWS.
Palin could do better throwing darts in the dark than dems do using every media source know to man at their fingers tips. Educated FOX Idiots.

    7. Her mere existence on the National stage pi$$es off everybody with a college degree.
The only people who would claim this out are people who think they are smarter than everyone else.
I have a college degree and you are the one who is ticking me off, not Palin. Gee what happen to your blanket claim? Guess you blew another one.

    8. They know it will be hard for an opponent to attack her when they are screaming sexism at the top of their lungs.
Palin doesn’t care about sexism, you do! You have a social agenda which is the opposite of Palin and you can’t stand not being
able to force your perversion on others. Instead of standing up and screaming that your a pervert, you say poor me, I can’t scream
or they will think I’m using sexism, wannnn, wannnn….. It has NOTHING to do with sex and everything to do with your rotten social agenda
which would make our forefathers roll over in their graves.

    9. They liked being able to say they were smarter than the president these last 8 years.
The only people who would claim this are people who think they are smarter than Bush. I can assure you that you are not any smarter
than Bush. You should bless the day that the Bush bunch took over cause if the dems would have, Wallstreet would have collapsed before 2000
and Binloden would be running this nation while you are listening to FOX and paying $30 per gal. for gas.

    10. And of course the love Sarah Palin because she is the closest you could possibly come to being the exact opposite of Barack Obama.
You finally got one correct, she is precisely the opposite of Obama. Obama would have taken that $1,200 check Alaska gave us, and
spread it around to the guy standing by the drug store with the “will work for food sign”.
Palin put herself on the line and went to bat for us and allowed us to earn a dividend off the very large investment each
resident of Alaska has made in our oil companies. We are now doing to do the same with geothermal, wind and tides. Palin is causing the state
to tap our natural resources and send residents a check. Obama will do the opposite for you, and hike your taxes in the process.
If everyone in the lower 48 were not so brain dead, she would have figured out a way to get each and everyone of you the same
kind of returns off other U.S. natural resources and technology. Your loss is our gain, and everyone up here says a big thank you!
We will no doubt get a ton more back next year off our energy investments up here, just because Palin will be there to make
it all happen. I’m kind of glad she’s back now helping us DRILL BABY DRILL. you guy seriously blew it but so what!
All the more for us up here.

    8. They know it will be hard for an opponent to attack her when they are screaming sexism at the top of their lungs. Palin doesn’t care about sexism, you do! You have a social agenda which is the opposite of Palin and you can’t stand not being
able to force your perversion on others. Instead of standing up and screaming that your a pervert, you say poor me, I can’t scream or they will think I’m using sexism, wannnn, wannnn….. It has NOTHING to do with sex and everything to do with your rotten social agenda
which would make our forefathers roll over in their graves.
    .
    9. They liked being able to say they were smarter than the president these last 8 years. The only people who would claim this are people who think they are smarter
than Bush. I can assure you that you are not any smarter than Bush.
You should bless the day that the Bush bunch took over cause if the dems would have, Wallstreet would have collapsed before 2000
and Binloden would be running this nation while you are listening to
FOX and paying $30 per gal. for gas.
    .
    10. And of course the love Sarah Palin because she is the closest
you could possibly come to being the exact opposite of Barack Obama.
You finally got one correct, she is precisely the opposite of Obama.
Obama would have taken that $1,200 check Alaska gave us, and
spread it around to the guy standing by the drug store with the “will work for food sign”. Palin put herself on the line and went to bat for us and allowed us to earn a dividend off the very large investment each resident of Alaska has made in our oil companies. We are now doing the same with geothermal,
wind and tides. Palin is causing the state to tap our natural resources and send residents a check. Obama will do the opposite for you, and hike your taxes in the process. If everyone in the lower 48 were not so brain dead, she would have figured out a way to get each and everyone of you the same kind of returns off other U.S. natural resources and technology. Your loss is our gain, and everyone up here says a big thank you! We will no doubt get a ton more back next year off our energy investments up here, just because Palin will be there to make it all happen. I’m kind of glad she’s back now helping us DRILL BABY DRILL. you guy seriously
blew it but so what! All the more for us up here.

Jay, most, if not all of the remaining Republicans are not in the least interested in an “honest reckoning” of what went wrong, since that would have to involve a re-evaluation of their most cherished, fundamental beliefs about the world. Scared, wilfully ignorant people want to simplify the world as much as possible, which is why “stab-in-the-back” myths are so powerful. Look back through history – this sort of thing surprisingly often works to bring to power a small, but fanatical group of single-minded zealots. When it doesn’t work, the result is usually war from within, as the guerilla holy-warriors seek to bring down the official government by any means possible (usually noble, self-sacrificial murder of as many unbelievers as possible). Timothy McVeigh represents loads of people who believe that assasination and mass murder are heroic acts, especially if they can involve suicidal effort. Most of these folks are now included in the Republican base, which is why the despicable rhetoric of McCain and Palin was and still is so dangerous to our country.

Hi Shakespeare in GA. I think Ms. Sarah is a useful symptom of much larger problems in our society. Too many people are utterly incapable of critical thinking. I work as an informal educator with k-12 kids, and see that many high school kids lack the ability
to connect more than two dots. They can’t do “if . . then . . . else” logic. Many are also functionally illiterate, in the sense that they can read words but not effectively process written information. Big problem. And, of course, many could care less.
    ……………………………………..

wvng, I just couldn’t resist addressing an educated hypocrite. You claim Governor Palin is “a symptom of a really LARGE problem in our society,” and that problem is kids messing up when they try to speak and reason at the same time. You even claim many are functionally illiterate because they can’t read and think at the same time.
Please take a close look at you own words. At the end of your claims you tag on a “many could care less,” when it is plain that that you mis-spoke and also missed typed. You should have correctly said “many couldn’t care less,” which would mean that most people care little if kids can “read and think at the same time”.
What you actually said was that most people could care a lot less because they care very much. A typical typo right? Nothing worthy of being addressed, right? You admit to being a teacher, yet you allow the destruction of your point with a precise reading of your words.
I claim this is the results of verbal carelessness, the precise same fault you have accused Governor Palin of. What difference does it make if you can’t “talk and think” if you can’t “talk and type”? The two faults are very similar in the wonderful world of fault finding. Yet you point your finger as you perform the same type of careless communications. My point is that you have unjustly attempted to accuse Palin of the same fault you publish yourself. You may attempt to claim that a punctuation error is being unfairly compared to a general literacy error but I beg to differ with that defense. Verbal literacy errors are much easier to fall into than typed and published errors. You only get a single chance to correct verbalized thoughts before they go out and are video taped for all the world to see on the first take. You could have went back and corrected your error but you either did not recognize it or were to careless to make the effort. I claim an oz. of typed errors is equal to about a pound of verbal errors, so you picking on Palin or anybody for communication errors, is pretty silly and really hypocritical.
As a teacher you should know better. I make a ton of commutations errors myself but I am not the one who raised this issue, you are.
I am just pointing out to you that ANYONE sitting in front of Katy would make many communication errors in all kinds of ways. In the end production of the interview the editor has the absolute
ablity to make the subject person out to look like a genius or an idiot, literally, and Katy absolutely decided to make Palin look like an illiterate person. If I would have been doing the editing of her tapes Palin would have looked like a genius. You, like others have a perverted agenda and Palin resists your agenda. Rather than
attacking her beliefs or positions you and others find it much easier to just filter her true nature away by editing the tape and showing every possible flaw available, in lib. attempt to push
your own perverted lib. personal agenda forward. The lib. media refuses to admit that this is how it brainwashes victim America but it is the truth. You and they attempt to edit out anything which might reduce their perverted agenda and Palin was edited to publish only her error, just to brainwash viewers. The liberal media has gone much to far and will pay a heavy price for what they did within this election. Katy will be losing her job for her perverted editing, another wait and see……….

mrtoads everything in your below speech is what the dems are guilty of in America. Funny that you would take a bunch of the things said about dems and attempt to push them onto reps.

Palin got bad press because the lib. media is perverted and therefore hires perverts like Katy. Katy edited her interview to line up with her perverted life and her bosses perverted life’s. You like her because you have a perverted life like hers and the lib. media. Palin contains 90% of what conservative America wants and will run on the GOP ticket in 2012. McCain was a huge rep. right-wing compromise and it alienated the core of the rep. base. It will not happen again and the dems. will lose in 2012.

Shakespeare, Obama is a dual Indonesian citizen because he was adopted by an Indonesian citizen. That is the way their laws work and you remain an Indonesian citizen by law for life if you fail to renounce at age 21. Obama never renounced therefore the dual citizen problem and dual citizens cannot become a president of the U.S.

Press Release 11-07-08: US Supreme Court awaits response to Berg Writ of Certiorari from Obama, DNC and co-defendants

    U. S. SUPREME COURT AWAITS RESPONSE TO
    BERG’S WRIT OF CERTIORARI
    FROM OBAMA, DNC and Co-DEFENDANTS
(Contact information and PDF at end)
    .
Berg has replied to the Defendant’s response.
    .
The Defendants’ response is due by December 1st and Mr. Berg’s reply will be submitted thereafter.

Shakespeare, you got it right the first time, Master Obama is an Indonesian citizen but that stuff about making sure folks are who they claim to be, that used to be a cornerstone of media in a democratic society. Haven’t ya heard we don’t do that anymore.
Now we just fill out the forms for the democratic convention and tell them whatever we want about our U.S. citizenship cause they will never check it out anyway…….. and as far a your claim that it has been done with Master Obama; isn’t that a little like the 3 outfielders all standing there and watching the ball hit the ground and then look at each other saying, I thought you had it. And it has NOT been in Obama’s case. NEXT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I am wrong then please state the name and contact information for the person who has checked out and seen Master Obama’s Vault Birth Certificate. Or if you are unable to do that one, why not try finding out if Master Obama is still an Indonesia citizen or still a Kenya citizen? I am sure that he will just tell ya right?
We are all so very much waiting for your next reply Shakespeare.
I will bet anyone $1,000 right now that Shakespeare’s next reply will NOT contain any of the requested contact information. It will only contain more dribble about how Moe saw Curly check Master Obama’s library card and Curly saw Larry check out his long distance provider. “HEY GUYS IT LOOKS LIKE NOBODY DID ANY THING!!!,” NUCK, NUCK, NUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

rmrd – Your Hitler quotes are very insightful as to what is rolling around inside your head. Everyone is asking “why would anyone attempt to bring Hitler back to life by quoting his delusional thought process?” Would rmrd go to an insanity ward and then go online and publish his thoughts also? I am 100% sure rmrd would not. The reason is because rmrd holds Hitler’s words near and dear to his or her heart. Listen up rmrd! Hitler was a NUT JOB who escaped from an insanity prison ward. If you hate Christianity just come out and admit it, like a good Obama Zombie. As far as insanity goes I believe you may have got a healthy dose of that also.
Christianity is the only reason man has not wiped himself out by now. It may have had a bunch of people attempt to falsely claim they represent Christianity but they did not. Christianity advocates
treating your neighbor like you would want to be treated yourself. Christianity preaches love but it is not fearful of defending itself, therefore your Christianity weakness claim quote displays your ignorant prospective. Your and Hitler’s reference to Christianity as a “filthy reptile” displays your fear of it. Your and Hitler reference to “stamping out Christianity” shows that you desire to destroy Christianity because you fear it. Your reference to “fairy stories by Jews” shows both of your contempt & fear for Christianity. Your personal claim that Christianity can harm other people is outrageous as Christianity harms nobody, insane humans calling themselves Christian’s, might. Both your and Hitler’s claims are totally outrageous on the surface and are only being published by you in an attempt to justify some kind of harm that you may wish do to Christian’s in the future. Don’t see it?
Take a good look at your own words, they are filled with hate against Christianity. You should know at least, in case you don’t, that you are an evil person, which is highly likely
to perform violent actions specifically against Christianity and other religions in general, in the future. It is however strange that you would reference Muslim’s receiving violence from Christianity when in reality just the opposite is true? The Muslim religion literally states in writing that it has the right or duty to murder a Christian if they are attempting to talk to persons about Christianity. Christianity lists
murder anyone as being a specific sin. Your personal and Hitler speculations are incorrect, presumptions, evil and most of all very insane. I hope you get medical hellp or at least get back on
    your medications.

    hickoryduck Says:
You ask why NO ONE is asking Palin something substantive? She’s Nothing about that freaking bridge, or her lies about Obama, or her own policy positions. NOTHING. Pathetic.
    ————————
Yes hickoryduck I agree that it is pathetic the way the lib. medial reports on issues in general. The pathetic lib. bias has transformed TV into a literal wasteland, only making viewer desire to disconnect their TV’s and get their news somewhere else. Katy and all the rest nutjob medial persons, are only there to push their personal political agenda. They no doubt asked the substantive questions and received substantive answers but the media filter edited out those response. The items they did air were only the flashy items, true or out-right lie, which would advance their or their networks personal political prospective. And you thought that you were getting fair reporting. Maybe 20 – 30 years ago you would have but today just about all sources are lib. media propaganda. If they told you the truth at the beginning of the news it would go something like this.
    .
We are a private news agency which is only interested in reporting stories which advance our own personal political agenda. Please do not expect fair reporting through-out our news segment because we filter out all opinions and sources which tend to encourage viewers to believe differently from personal and specific view of the world.
    .
What is really unbelievable is the way the lib. media has been able to keep pro-conservative issues out of the press or off the TV! You may hear about some Hollywood star dating some other star or maybe M Jackson going to the store but you will not hear a single word about Obama refusing to meet the same Vault Birth Certificate requirement which average everyday native born America’s meet day after day. It appears to be WAY to much to ask, that the guy running America and with his finger on our nuclear arsenal, have the same Vault BC requirement as the rest of us!!!! Obama is dreaming if he thinks he is going to side-step this one. Someone will eventually discover His true citizenship truth and sell it to the highest bidder on FOX or some other network and then all the fun will be over………

Regarding Sarah Palin, she is the closest you could possibly come to being the exact opposite of Barack Obama and that is why reps.love her. I live in Alaska and Palin personal got each Alaskan a $1,200 check from our investment in our oil companies. Obama would have taken that check and gave it to the guy on the street corner with the sign saying “Will Work For Food”. Palin put herself on the line and went to bat for us and allowed us to earn a dividend off the very large investment each resident of Alaska has made in our oil companies. We are now doing the same with geothermal, wind and tides. Palin is helping our state to tap our natural resources and
send residents a check. Your reference about the “freaking bridge” shows your pure ignoranc. Literally thousands of items like “the bridge” sat within our billion dollar state budget and Palin went through it and dumped hundreds of millions for stuff like that bridge that made no sense at all. She never proposed any of the dumped items but she saved Alaska hundreds of millions of dollar by just vetoing it all. 90% of the junk vetoed was suggested by some political representative attempting to get reelected by showing their locals that they got all sorts of money from the state. Palin did a great job canceling it all while keeping the stuff we really needed.

Celebrity, you are what is wrong with this country.
You democrat’s are so messed up… Your so messed up that you don’t even see how messed up you really are. Ever since J.F.K. the dems. have gone down the drain. Really I can’t understand how you all can’t see how messed up you really are. Just take a simple example like having a republican or dem. grab a handful of their parties latest political platform basic’s and then teleport back in time 100 years. What would happen to either person if they attempted to push their modern political principles on people from 1908?
The answer is simple, the dem. would either end up in jail or dead.
The rep. would basically fit right in with most of the citizend back then. So who has altered both their own life and their neighbors?
Basically any 2008 dem. would be instantly tarred & feathered in about 5 minutes if they showed there faces back then, so who is the
perverts who have not only CHANGED themselves but forced that same change onto their neighbors? The dems. that’s who.
And as far as when did we have it better! I will take the 1908 economy any day over our 2008 “Bubble Land” banking and Wallstreet.
At least we had a “real economy” back then, that wasn’t build on worthless paper money. Paper may have been ok back when it represented actual gold assesses but that like everything else “is history.” I know it may be hard to believe, but Obama doesn’t stand a chance of fixing Wallstreet or our banking system. It would be like asking a 5 year old to fix the U.S. economy, sure he can call in the adults and maybe if he listens real close he might be able address the issue in 2012. Why do you think Wallstreet began pulling its cash out of the market as soon as the polls started saying that Obama was going to win? Daaaaa, hey that is when they started pulling the cash out out of the market……..daaaaaaaaaaa.
It wasn’t a HUGE coincidence that our economy coasted along “ok” until the media started predicting a dem. hitting the Whitehouse in 2008? If you follow the rate of cash being pulled out of the market you will see that the largest drops on the DOW occurred every time new information came out projecting a dem. in the Whitehouse.
Obama and the dems. are the reason everything crashed right now. They pulled there cash because they remember history. If you don’t remember history take a look at what happen to the U.S. economy directly after L.B.J., Carter and Clinton took office… Stock market dumped, prime went through the roof…
These investor’s know what a dem. administration means, so they rip their cash off the table. The economy has had serious problems ever since L.B.J.’s “Great Society” welfare state creation, but reps. were able to keep us walking an economic tight-rope since. Obama was just the last straw laid on the camels back before it broke. That collapse has trigger a worldwide financial collapse because the rest of the planet loves to keep its eyes on the U.S..
Obama started something alright, he triggered the beginning of a worldwide financial breakdown and the only thing which will even approach fixing it is a rep. Administration, Congress and Senate. But all you dems. out there don’t know that yet. It will no doubt take some convincing, I say, if your smart, you will figure it out in 2012. If your not it will take to 2016, if the U.S. is still around by then…
Your convincing should come over the next 4 years as you watch your taxes rise and your paycheck fall. All the while you will also see the prime lending rate go from 5% to 20% like when Carter did his thing attempting to “fix” our economy.
It is physically impossible for any dem. to fix anything to do with any present day economy because they start with a backward way of
generating wealth for a nation. They believe wealth just exists out there in “Never-Land” and it is their personal duty to spread that cosmic wealth around to as many people as possible. That fantasy land prospective works great for a year or two until the bank runs out of money, then Ma and Pa have to go out and get real jobs.
The dem. basically live off a general philosophy of life that says ” its “party time ” so let the check writing begin.
People who live in the real world know that someone has to actually pay for those check writing parties, they are called republican.

    LISTEN UP DEMOCRAT’S!
Obama will be sued over and over for the next 4 years if he fails to clear up his true place of native citizenship and he cannot clear it up with live birth certificate copies. You are talking about billions of dollars worth of litigation and an unbelievable amount of wasted human and legal resources. It cannot be that difficult for Obama to drive home, pull out his original Vault birth certificate and hand it over to the U.S. government for certification.
When I needed a U.S. Coast Guard License they forced me to hand over my original Vault birth certificate and I thought nothing of it. They sent it back to me with my license. Why is this such a big deal? It is happening everyday all over the U.S..
Why would anyone resist letting the U.S. government see their original Vault birth certificate? It is such a really dumb little thing to do if you really want to be the President of the United States of America. You really have to question Obama’s sanity if he even hesitates at giving the government instant access to the document.

This is why Obama cannot allow the United States to review his original vault birth certificate. If his vault certificate reveals that he was really born in Kenya, the U.S. Supreme Court would do the same thing they did in MONTANA V. KENNEDY 366 U.S. 308, 1961, when Kennedy claimed U.S. citizenship because his mother was a native-born citizen of the U.S..
The Court decided that he was not a U.S. citizen.

    Case Name: MONTANA V. KENNEDY 366 U.S. 308

THEY WERE MARRIED IN THE UNITED STATES, AND THEIR MARITAL RELATIONSHIP HAS NEVER BEEN TERMINATED. PETITIONER WAS BORN IN ITALY IN 1906, WHILE HIS PARENTS WERE RESIDING THERE TEMPORARILY, AND HIS MOTHER BROUGHT HIM TO THE UNITED STATES LATER IN THE SAME YEAR.
