Obama Interview

TIME.com has posted excerpts from my interview with Obama last night aboard his charter between Amman and Jerusalem (As it happens, the flight was the candidate’s first chance to see the newly remodeled charter plane where he will be spending so much of his time in coming months.)

In our interview, Obama talked about what he saw in Iraq and Afghanistan, and predicted that Afghanistan could prove to be even more difficult a challenge–”a tougher job” for the U.S. — than Iraq has been.

There will be more in dead-tree TIME.
