I had to go all the way to Amman to finally meet a Swampland commenter in person. In my hotel lobby, as the pool was preparing to leave to set up for Obama’s arrival, I encountered none other than “Dr JTB,” who turns out to be Jacqueline Taylor Basker. She is lovely woman, a teacher here who is organizing ex-pats for Obama, and who took exception to my previous post.
