That Depends on What the Definition of Sniper Is

Thanks to Swampland commenters for encouraging me to go back and look at the full text of Bill Clinton’s rather bizarre defense of his wife sniper tale. As documented by Jake Tapper, it might be the most dense collection of misrepresentations ever collected into a single statement by a politician, though “I am not a crook” probably beats it due to its word/lie ratio of 1:1.

At the very end of his rationalization patchwork, Clinton ruefully levels the ethical playing field with a reminder/threat: “And some of them when they’re 60 they’ll forget something when they’re tired at 11:00 at night, too.”

You know, I’m not yet sixty, and it’s pretty early in the day, but I have totally forgotten what made everyone think that Bill was such a great asset to HRC’s campaign…

UPDATE: Disenfranchised_libertarian raises an excellent point: If Hillary’s that forgetful at 11 o’clock at night, shouldn’t we all be very worried about what she’ll “forget” at 3 in the morning?
