So that last stop in Westerville was not an aberration. With less than 48 hours to go before two primaries in which her campaign’s survival is very much at stake, Hillary Clinton is indeed much more combative than I have seen her before in this race–and so are her audiences.

The crowd in a high school gym here went wild as Clinton shouted, “We’re coming back. … We need someone in the White House again who is a fighter.”

Appearing with her onstage was her latest endorser: Youngstown’s own Kelly “The Ghost” Pavlik.

There’s nothing “wrong” with protests built around placard-hoisting and park-squatting, but Occupy the SEC is definitely doing something right with its radically different tack. The OWS-offshoot has submitted a 325-page letter to federal financial regulatory agencies on the Volcker Rule, a controversial measure designed to prohibit banks from proprietary trading, or making investments with their own dollars rather than their customers’, that was passed as part of the Dodd-Frank financial reform law.
