Fellow swamper Michael Scherer, videographer Caitlin Thompson and I went up to Concord yesterday afternoon to catch Mike Huckabee at an event where they were going to name a hamburger (a Huckaburger) in his honor. When we got there, we discovered we didn’t have a prayer of getting in, so we were stranded outside in a mob that included a bunch of Ron Paul supporters, some global warming activists dressed up like a snowman and Santa Claus, former Maryland Lt. Gov. Michael Steele and Chris Matthews. Here’s what it was like:
