Re: Iowa Endorsement for Obama

While Hillary’s get of Evan Bayh is getting more attention in the national media, Obama’s pick-up of Fischer has a pleasing symbolic punch: Fischer was last seen at Hillary’s Des Moines health care speech. Also, there’s a question of who’s endorsement can actually help their candidate where it matters. As an Obama staffer put it: “We see your Evan Bayh…and raise you an Iowan.”
