I’ve been bumped from the Colbert Report because of a Stephen Colbert cast-related medical emergency. Rescheduled for September.
UPDATE: I did tape a shocking bombshell of an interview with Colbert last night. It has been held until September–allegedly–because of the storm of protest that will ensue when it airs and also because Colbert took so damn long having the cast removed from his broken wrist last night. It was great fun…and I came away with the world’s largest goody-bag (including a fifth of vodka: how did he know?)The man’s a genius. Seriously.
