I Suvived YearlyKos

Yesterday I was on a panel at the YearlyKos Convention in Chicago entitled “Blogs and the MSM: From Clash to Civilization”. Also on the panel were Glen Greenwald of Unclaimed Territory/Salon.com, Mike Allen of Politico and Jill Filipovic of Feministe. Ari Melber of The Nation and Huffington Post moderated the panel. I thought it was a good panel, with good questions from the audience. A lot of people came up afterwards and thanked me for being willing to participate despite all the hostility towards the MSM, but I didn’t think it was all that hostile. And the dialogue was worth it. My thanks to Ari for doing a great job moderating, to my fellow panelists and to everyone who came and who asked questions (and who, in some cases, quelled their desire to throw rotten produce).
