The AP continues its questions to the WH ’08ers with, “What time is ‘sleeping in?'”
Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, Bill Richardson and Mitt Romney say 7 a.m.; Sam Brownback and Duncan Hunter say 7:30 a.m.; Barack Obama, Rudy Giuliani, John McCain and Tom Tancredo say 8 a.m.; Joe Biden says 8:30-9 a.m.
Earliest to rise is Mike Huckabee: “Five a.m. is late for me. Most days I am up no later than 4:30 a.m.”
And wife Elizabeth said she and Dennis Kucinich like to get up for brunch and then go back to bed until 4:30 p.m., “John-Lennon-and-Yoko Ono style” (AP, 5/7).

UPDATE AT 6 a.m. WEDNESDAY, WHICH MEANS HUCKABEE HAS BEEN AWAKE FOR AN HOUR AND THE REST OF THEM ARE STILL ASLEEP: Note to Cfaller96 and other commenters who have noticed the lightness of my posts here this week, and worry that I am leaning on my shovel. Would that it were true. Alas, the High Sheriffs have been getting their money’s worth out of me on other fronts, which hasn’t left me time to be tending the Swamp as much as I might have liked. Please stay tuned for dead-tree TIME. Also, Terrapin, welcome back. We missed you.
