To quote a colleague’s response upon hearing that a Webb aide was arrested for carrying a gun: “In Virginia, I guess that means he’ll get re-elected.”
Speaking of Webb: He and Hagel are apparently announcing some sort of Iraq resolution tomorrow. (Specifically, a concrete timetable for withdrawal.) Does anyone else think they’re also trying out how they look on a podium together? (“Psst, Unity08, over here…”)
