So it looks like Obama was not the only candidate to not wish the Edwardses well on stage in Las Vegas; Kucinich appears to have left that out of his TPs as well. But as far as Obama’s sentiments: I emailed both campaigns and they both confirmed that Obama has personally communicated his sympathy to the family. An Edwards spokesperson said that Obama was “one of the first, if not THE first, to call” the Edwardses with his support; they heard from the Senator in the car on the way back from Thursday’s press conference. Says the spokesman: “He was a gentleman.”
